TTA Helps Sun Microsystem's JavaOne Speakers Give Technical Presentations With Pizzazz!
It's not enough to have your presentation slides in order and knowing when to show up and where. To create a happy customer, in this case, the audience, you need to have "pizzazz". If you have pizzazz, chances are you will also have the "wow" factor. Every technical presentation needs a "wow" factor - something that intrigues and excites the audience. For the fifth year, The Training Alliance is helping technical speakers at the JavaOne 2006 Conference polish their presentations for clarity and cohesiveness, as well as working with them to deliver their presentation with pizzazz.
Over the years, speakers who have worked with our speaker coaches have said:
It definitely improved my presentation and made me more confident. I got very positive feedback on the presentation. I would even recommend it to the best presenters. Everyone can learn something. I would not only recommend it; I would pay to work with our coach again.

Extending a Training Budget is Every Company's Goal and TTA Helps By Developing Multi-mode Courses
What is a multi-mode course? Very simply, it is a traditional course delivered by an instructor to a group in a classroom that is modified to also be delivered by an instructor to students anywhere using technology that enables live eLearning. Instructors and students talk over the internet, chat online, collaborate online on exercises, share whiteboards and share applications. This type of interactive distance education reduces travel costs significantly and eliminates teleconferencing costs.
Working with the Training Manager of Sun Microsystem's Financial Systems Institute, The Training Alliance redesigned a one day course so that facilitation instructions and student exercises were housed within the same manual for both traditional classroom or live eLearning. This techniques reduced the publication cost significantly. This course has become the prototype for continue modification of all FSI courses to the new multi-mode style of courseware.
