Case-based Learning

At The Training Alliance, we bring the richness, complexity, and challenge of "real life" into the learning environment. This means making extensive use of an instructional strategy called case-based learning. This method encourages people to practice those "moments of truth" where they must think on their feet, apply what they've learned, and do it in real time. It also means letting them work in a safe environment where they won't "crash and burn" if they fail. Instead, caring and useful feedback can be provided that they can then apply when facing "the real thing."
