Since founding The Training Alliance in 1988, Dawn has managed its marketing, sales, and financial operations. She has consulted and worked in a training capacity in the education, computer, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, utilities, and financial services industries for over 35 years. She has personally designed and/or managed more than 400 performance and training solutions in marketing, sales, field engineering, customer service, operations, IT, software applications, and employee and management development.
Dawn has a B.A. from Concordia University, Primary and Secondary Education Certificates from McGill University, and an M.A. in Educational Technology from Concordia University, all located in Montreal, Canada.
Since 1976, Dawn has been an active member of ISPI (International Society for Performance Improvement), ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) and ISA (instructional Systems Association). She is an internationally recognized writer, speaker and workshop leader for ISPI International and for local ISPI chapters. Over the years she has received numerous ISPI leadership awards for her work at the chapter and international level, and for helping to establish the Silicon Valley Chapter in 1984.
